To use magic erasers:

  • You do need to wet it because it is obviously all dry.
  • It is like a sponge because it’s got little holes in it.
  • Once wet, the melamine foam soaks up the dirt, which is then retained in the pad and removed from the surface you are cleaning.
  • You can get loads and loads of different brands of magic erasers.

In 15 places, I would highly recommend using a magic erasers.

The first place is grout and tiles cleaning with magic erasers.

  • Our grout is a light grab, and we have just been using it almost like a toothbrush scrubber to clean the grout.
  • For cleaning, you need to wet the little pad first of all.
  • then when you put it on your grout.
  • you don’t even need to put much pressure on it at all.
  • You simply wipe up and down the grout.
  • it comes out like new.
  • It is absolutely amazing.
  • this honestly blew our minds.

The next place is tiles.

  • Using the magic eraser completely absorbs all of the dirt that has been hidden among the pile, bringing them out looking like new.

The third place I would suggest using magic erasers is on sticky price tags:

  • Sometimes they can be really difficult to get off and obviously.
  • when you do try, they can often leave residue on there.
  • All you need to do is wet your magic eraser.
  • give that area a few good wipe-overs.
  • the sticky price tag and any residue are gone.

Another area to use magic erasers is on clothes:

  • wiped the food stains a few times.
  • and it has disappeared completely.
  • making my top look as good as new.
  • Another one for clothing is to use a magic eraser on your trainer soles.

We also use magic erasers on our shower screens.

  • and it shines the shower screens up so very well.
  • Getting rid of any water stains that have been left behind.
  • To partner up with the shower screen.

shower tray:

  • We also like to use our magic eraser on the shower tray.
  • Our shower trays are white.
  • we often get a little residue buildup from shampoos and conditioners and things like body wash.
  • So what we just like to do once a week is go into the shower.
  • Get down on our hands and knees and clean the shower tray really well with the magic eraser.
  • This just removes any kind of film.
  • that has built up on your shower tray and makes it feel as good as new.

Walls:

  • We get lots of sort of fingerprints on our walls.
  • Or just areas where the boys have gone by with their coats on or things like that.
  • So we just get the magic eraser.
  • rub the wall a little bit. and it does help because our walls are very light too.
  • So the stains are quite obvious.
  • it means you can really notice when the magic eraser has done its work.

skirting boards:

We often have scuff marks or kick marks on our skirting boards. but a few wipes of the magic eraser, and they are completely gone.

Windows:

  • If you just want to clean off your windows.
  • and the magic eraser is definitely the one to just quickly pull out.
  • Just dampen it ever so slightly and then rub over the fingerprints.
  • they have gone so easily without leaving any streaks or any other marks on your windows.

Sofas:

  • The magic eraser is also really good for getting stains out of your sofas.
  • We have a little kid’s room in our house.
  • quite often if they have friends over.
  • They’ll have something like popcorn or a bit of chocolate.
  • When they’re watching a movie, I will find some stains on the sofa the next day.
  • So what I just like to do is wet my magic eraser a little and just rub gently onto the sofa stains.
  • they come out so well with hardly any effort.

Jewelry:

All you need to do to clean those up is wet your magic eraser a little. then just give them a light buff. This will remove any film that has built up over time. it will also bring out their shine again.

laptop screen:

  • Just lightly dampen it, you just want to make sure you haven’t dampened it too much.
  • because obviously you are using this on your computer.
  • then you just lightly wipe away on your screen.
  • as you can see.
  • it’s just taking away all of those weird marks—I don’t even know what they are—and it’s just making your screen look like new.

Keyboard:

  • You can also use a magic eraser on your keyboard.
  • So again, you need to make sure that your magic eraser is very lightly dampened and not too wet at all.
  • You want to just rub your magic eraser all over your keyboard.
  • this will lift up any stuck-on dirt that is between your keys.
  • because, like I said at the start, the magic eraser does absorb any dirt.

Worktop:

  • When I get my magic eraser, dampen it slightly.
  • and then just work it on the worktop a little like I said.
  • If you have a shiny worktop.
  • though, I would just do a spot test on it .
  • first our worktop is a matte worktop.
  • so this magic eraser works perfectly on there.
  • and it does not damage our worktop at all.
  • but just do a spot test in an area on your worktop.
  • which you won’t notice if the magic eraser does affect it.
  • because you don’t want to obviously go wild on your worktop and then realize the magic eraser has damaged your surface in any way or taken away the shine.
  • but like I said on our worktop, it works so well. and it gets rid of any little stains that any pots and pans have left.

Ovens:

  • The next area the magic eraser works so well in is the oven.
  • Our ovens aren’t even that old.
  • But at the bottom of them, they’ve got just a buildup of grease and a bit of grime.
  • where maybe food’s falling down on them, or if I’m cooking oily things, the oil has just sort of spat up a little bit.
  • and it has been left in the oven.
  • So just by using the magic eraser in here, all of the grease and grime gets lifted away.
  • so easily with it, and your oven literally does come out like new again.
